- Amnesty International Statement, Save two Iranians from public stoning
Iranian authorities have planned to publicly stoned Mokarrameh Ebrahimi and an unnamed man on 21 June, in a cemetery in Takestan, Qazvin province, believed to be the father of her child for allegedly committing adultery. Both persons have been imprisoned for the past 11 years in Choubin prison according to Amnesty International.
