Third Parties in America

The Ralph Nader Presidential Campaign website has posted a link to a documentary, Debating the Role of Third Parties in the US, which is taken from the second disc of the DVD set of ‘An Unreasonable Man’. (The above clip is the first part of the documentary) Divided into 5 separate clips, it features interviews from academics such as Barry Burden from Harvard University to historian Howard Zinn and Ralph Nader, an Independent Presidential candidate as they trace the history and importance of third parties in America. Even if you disagree with Nader or third party politics, this film will expose how the two party system has entrenched itself to prevent other candidates from standing for elections.
